Who we are?

We are the evolution of "discos" where we deliver so much more than just great music, sound, lighting & special FX.

Cloud 9 Roadshow is built up of my brother Ian & I where we have been DJ's for nearly 40 years now (35 years me "Lee Hookway" / 40 years my brother "Ian Hookway"). We are very experienced in providing exciting & entertaining events/parties where we believe they are about more than just DJ'ing great music & actually also about providing a professional show. We both have full time jobs/careers in the electrical & IT industry where we can sincerely say that we do what we do because we absolutely love to & the fantastic response/feedback we receive during & after makes it all worthwhile.

Unlike most DJ's, discos these days, we choose to still use vinyl (records), but also CD's & digital which gives us a big advantage of a massive music library in a very small space.
We have never advertised & all our business is based on recommendation, which has kept us both year on year very busy with re-occurring bookings.

Our passion is music & we pride ourselves on the high quality of music, sound, lighting & special FX we deliver. We are proud to be different from the average types of generic DJ's, discos who generally don't have the personality, depth of experience, knowledge of music & super high quality equipment.

For us it is truly all about the people, the music & our passion for what we do in creating fantastic events/parties. People can sincerely see, hear & feel our passion, drive & enthusiasm for what we love to do in making our/your event/party special & memorable.
